This particularly beautiful and SUPER RARE Sphagnum comes from Peru and varies in color from green / red speckled to purple, brown-red to very dark red / almost black sometimes, depending on the location. They are small to medium plants, very soft in structure and very compact in growth. Very good to combine with carnivorous plant species.
Variable in color and can be placed on slightly drier pitches than most other Peat mosses, this moss also has no problem with shade, but then the beautiful red color usually changes to green
