Being a moprh of Cubaris sp. "Pak Chong", they are Native to Thailand. These rare Cubaris develop soft shades of blush pink, rose, and pale cream that closely resemble the petals of blooming sakura trees. Some individuals also display subtle white patterning, creating a beautiful contrast that makes every isopod unique. Their elegant coloration is naturally occurring rather than the result of selective breeding, making them one of the most remarkable tropical isopods available to collectors. Although considered an intermediate to advanced species, Cubaris sp. "Cherry Blossom" rewards attentive care with healthy, steadily growing colonies. They thrive in warm, humid enclosures maintained between 22–26°C (72–79°F) with consistently high humidity, a deep organic substrate rich in decomposing hardwood, white rotten wood, hardwood leaf litter, moss, and plenty of cork bark hiding places. Good ventilation and a proper moisture gradient remain essential to prevent stagnant conditions while supporting healthy molts. Supplementing their diet with calcium and occasional protein-rich foods encourages excellent shell development and reproduction.
