Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare the Reptile: Move the reptile to a separate, clean temporary tub. Remove all substrate from the infested enclosure and discard it.
Put Solution in Bottle.
Treat the Reptile: Liberally spray the reptile's entire body, including head, heat pits, and under chin and anus areas. Mites hide in these areas.
Treat the Enclosure: Spray the entire enclosure (inside & out), including branches, hides, water bowls (remove them first!), and the surrounding floor area. Let it dry completely; the dried crystals kill mites.
Bedding & Setup: Line the enclosure with paper towels to easily spot mites.
Repeat: Re-treat the reptile and enclosure after 7 days, and again after another 7 days (total of 3 treatments) to kill newly hatched mites.
Monitor: Continue with paper towel bedding until you are certain all mites are gone.
