Harvested from the rattan palm (Calamus longisetus), each pod features an extraordinary overlapping scale pattern and a warm golden-brown colour. These natural rattan fruit branches originate in the tropical forests of Asia and are sustainably hand-harvested and processed in Indonesia. The pods and branches are completely untreated, allowing their authentic colour, fibrous woody stems, and beautifully patterned surfaces to remain intact. Naturally durable and maintenance-free, they retain their shape, structure, and colour for many years when kept under suitable conditions.

Each portion contains a varied mixture of branched pod clusters and loose individual pods. The branches create striking focal points and layered structural details, while the loose pods can be scattered throughout the enclosure to complete a naturally fallen forest-floor appearance. Use them among leaf litter, bark, wood, moss, and other botanicals to create a richly detailed tropical environment.

Because this is a completely natural product, the number of pods, branch shapes, pod sizes, colours, and proportions of attached and loose pods will vary between portions. Natural marks, small cracks, detached pods, and broken stem ends are expected and contribute to the authentic character of every assortment.
