A dwarf succulent haivng white flowers and native to South Africas Western Cape Province with thick, pointed, pale bluish green leaves of uneven length. In cultivation it does best in drier, warm temperate climates. Gibbaeum is adapted to sparse winter rains and is dormant in summer.
