Venezillo parvus "Dalmatian" Isopods are a beautiful and uncommon morph that immediately catches the eye with their distinctive spotted pattern. Much like the dog breed that inspired their name, these tiny isopods display an attractive combination of creamy white to light gray coloration covered with irregular black speckles, giving each individual a unique appearance. Their compact size, active behavior, and eye-catching markings make them an excellent choice for collectors seeking something a little different from the more common isopod species. As they mature, their contrasting pattern often becomes even more pronounced, creating a striking colony that stands out beautifully against leaf litter and natural wood.

Despite their exotic appearance, Venezillo parvus "Dalmatian" Isopods are relatively hardy and thrive in a well-established bioactive enclosure with a moisture gradient, deep organic substrate, abundant leaf litter, decaying hardwood, and plenty of cork bark or moss for cover. Like other tropical isopods, they benefit from consistent humidity, good airflow, calcium supplementation, and occasional protein-rich foods to support healthy molts and colony development. Their small size, unique coloration, and active foraging behavior make Venezillo parvus "Dalmatian" an outstanding choice for naturalistic vivariums, bioactive terrariums, and collectors looking to add a rare and visually distinctive species to their isopod collection.

All Cultures are started with 10-12 isopods of mixed life stages. ( May be mostly babies)
